That’s why every week, our crews attend Safety Meetings led by Jerry Ashmore, Director of Workforce Development and Safety, and Richard Berthiaume, Safety Manager. - Storm preparedness and response
- Preventing lifting injuries
- Mowing near water’s edge or on slopes
- Recognizing and avoiding insect stings
- Staying safe in cold weather conditions
- Motor vehicle and trailer safety
- Working around wildlife- including alligators
- Wearing protective gear
- Proper transport of equipment and materials
- Understanding the dangers of energy drinks on the job
Each meeting empowers our employees to stay informed, vigilant, and proactive about keeping safety at the forefront of all that they do.
